北外附校年度独具特色的外语节即将到来。3月25日傍晚，高一年级在国际展厅进行了戏剧My Fair Lady的角色竞选活动。共计师生30人参与此次活动，评审团由孙静老师，赵锦颖老师，外语教师John及学生导演组共同组成。

The unique annual Foreign Language Festival of  BFLS is coming. On the evening of March 25th, Senior One participated in the competition for the roles of My Fair Lady in the international exhibition hall. A total of 30 teachers and students joined in it. The judges were composed of English teachers Sun Jing, Zhao Jinying and Foreign Language Teacher John as well as students’ director group.

报名参加戏剧展演的同学们已利用周末时间研读剧本，熟悉剧情，认真把握角色的性格特点，做好了充分的准备。试演中，每位同学先进行英文自我介绍，包括个人的兴趣爱好、对于戏剧的看法以及选定理想角色的原因，然后结合自己对于角色的理解进行演绎。同学们流利的口语地道，精彩的表演引发了观演师生阵阵的掌声。

The students enrolled in the drama show has spent the weekend studying the script, familiarizing themselves with the plot, carefully grasping the  characteristics of the characters and making full preparations. In the audition, firstly, each student would introduce himself in English, including his hobbies, views on drama and the reasons for choosing his ideal role. Then everyone deduced his own understanding of the role. The students were fluent in spoken English and the wonderful performance aroused applause from the performers and students.

本次竞演活动，有利于锻炼学生的口语表达能力和活动组织能力，营造同学们学习英语的浓厚氛围，丰富同学们的课余生活。高一年级的戏剧展演将在老师们的指导下，由学生组成的导演组，服装道具组，舞台设计组，演员组共同合作完成，充分发挥学生的积极主动性以及无限创造力。期待同学们外语节戏剧展演中的精彩表现！

    This competition will be beneficial for practicing oral English and activity- organization ability, creating a strong atmosphere for English learning, enriching their after-school life. Under the guidance of teachers, Senior One drama show will be completed by the students’ director group, costume props group, stage design group and actors group, giving full play to the students’ initiative and unlimited creativity. We are looking forward to the wonderful performance of the drama show!
