在这个“寒风摧树木，严霜结庭兰”的冬天，纵使寒冷的天气使人们行色匆匆，然而一项温暖人心的行动却在悄然进行。他们没有伟岸的身姿，他们没有历经岁月沧桑，他们亦不曾体会人间百味，因为他们只是就读于初二年级的一群学生——他们朝气蓬勃，热情洋溢，乐观积极。近几日，他们在年级开展了“红鼻子义卖”活动，所有初二年级的学生及老师参与其中，积极响应，所得善款悉数捐献给中国红十字会总会。
在一节英语课上，学生们学习了一篇关于英国红鼻子日“Red Nose Day”的英文原版文章。文章讲述了英国的红鼻子日是一个比较喜剧性的慈善日，是在喜剧救济基金会（Comic Relief charity）组织的。在这一天，很多人把头发染红，戴上滑稽的红鼻子，顶着红鼻头表演滑稽喜剧，引观众开怀大笑。这是英国独特的募捐日，旨在通过喜剧表演帮助贫困者与社会弱势群体，让钱跳到穷人的口袋里。很多学校趁此机会进行爱心教育，并组织小型游乐募捐活动，让学生们在玩耍、嬉笑中学会助人。家长们也鼓励孩子积极参与活动，有意识地培养他们的爱心。
在英语组老师们的启发和鼓励下，学生也开展了红鼻子活动。首先他们在班里开展义卖，学生自愿出价购买红鼻子，然后他们走进办公室向老师们兜售红鼻子，老师们也颇具热情地参与其中。买到红鼻子，无论是拿在手中还是戴在鼻子上，鲜艳的颜色，滑稽的样子，惹得大家忍俊不禁，开怀大笑，仿佛学习的压力、工作的疲惫都烟消云散，此时此刻，所有人都享受着捐赠带来的快乐和愉悦。这，大概就是赠人玫瑰，手留余香。
每个班级筹集的善款数额不同，但那份爱心是等价的。该活动在我校尚属首次，此次新鲜尝试是一次很好的开端，善行善心，从来与年龄无关，这对于培养学生的社会责任感起到了积极的作用。同时，此项活动也贯彻中国共产党教育方针的贯彻，是将 “立德树人”的根本任务予以实践实施。
初二英语备课组
We celebrated Red Nose Day this week. It was really interesting to make fun of others. Our group tried to be creative to come up with a bunch of ideas to make students and teachers laugh. They paid money when they laughed. I know they’d like to donate money for those in need. Even though we are not old enough to make money, we want to share our care and love with the poor. We sold our red noses to others as well. -----范欣祺
On this Red Nose Day, we started to learn something from England. Everyone in our class was really active; they sold the red nose to our teachers. All the teachers supported us to raise money by this way. The money we collected from selling red noses will send to the Red-cross charity. In this special activity, I learned the importance of laugh. Maybe the money we collected is too little for the charity, but we do our best to do that kind of thing. I learned something useful from this activity, that is: be positive when you are in trouble. That is the most meaningful activity I have ever taken part in .---张馨瑶
This week, we celebrated a special festival---the Red Nose Day, because we have just learned about it in this unit. During this special festival, we sold and bought red noses, and put them on to make ourselves and others laugh. Both our teachers and students were very happy. I think it is a very good festival because everyone laughed a lot. On the other hand, all the money collected by us will go to the charity to help people in need.
