【初中•喜报】我校初中生在第十二届“希望中国”青少年教育戏剧北京赛区展评活动中喜获特等奖

2021年“希望中国”双语文化艺术节之第十二届“希望中国”青少年教育戏剧各组别决选展示于5月底在史家小学礼堂圆满落幕,我校初中部英语课本剧I Will Stay(中文名《我要留下来》)从参评的六十多部决赛作品中脱颖而出,荣获课本剧特等奖和最佳课本剧奖。

我校初中英语戏剧社选送的课本剧I Will Stay(《我要留下来》)改编自人教版英语课本 GoForIt(新目标)九年级全一册第四单元 SectionB 2b的课文 He Studies harder Than He Used to讲述了一个乡村留守儿童在被送到寄宿学校后,由于和同学相处不睦,又思念家人父母而提出退学,引来父亲的责骂并不幸受伤,最终在亲子间的有效沟通中达成共识答应留下来,不再退学,父母也因该市新的农民工政策留下来工作并陪着儿子。该剧结合社会实际,把一个较大的社会话题融入其中,以朴实简洁打动人心的故事,配合同学们动情的表演引发观剧的每个人的思考。参加本次比赛的家长志愿者现场观看后留下评论:为留守儿童发声,质朴无华的道具、投入的演出让每个角色都自带光环。该剧从去年10月份开始排练到今年4月份送审排练次数不超过12次,英语戏剧社的老师和同学们都积极配合,认真表演,力求每一次的排练都得到改进,主演步红壮不知被排球砸过多少次,在舞台上摔过多少次,依然孜孜不倦,力求表演真实。而平时面容和善、嘴角自带笑意的王泽学为了演好叛逆使坏的角色一遍遍和老师练台词、对表情。戏剧社带队老师范小英作为该剧的编剧兼导演以身作则,带着同学们一起排练,一起准备道具视频,用自己的言行向同学们诠释了投入才会有收获的道理。

“希望中国”双语文化艺术节活动自2010年开展以来吸引了全国二十多个省市千余所学校和单位的优秀作品和选手,遵循“中国文化,世界表达”、“向世界讲好中国故事”的教育主题,旨在进一步增强学生中国文化精神的主题意识,扩大中国文化的世界影响。此次北京赛区共有200多部作品参赛,有60余部作品入围决选展演,分为课本剧、中外经典剧和原创剧三个类别,参加比赛的有清华附中、101中学、北京中学、陈经纶中学、朝阳清华附中国际学校、北师大附中等各区知名学校。担任本次评委的有教育部《义务教育英语课程标准》修订组核心成员、课程教材研究所研究员、希望中国青少年英语教育戏剧研究院院长李静纯老师、青少年英语教育戏剧研究院执行院长郝建平、研究院副院长娄云、北京科技大学外籍专家James和具有多年英文戏剧和英国文学教学经验的英国驻华大使馆文化工作者Chris等十一位专家。同时,担任本次艺术节评审委员会主任的娄云老师指出,相较往年,第十二届的剧目无论是从剧目编排、语言质量还是从演员表演和整体呈现效果上都有很大提升。

在英语剧社,我学会了很多,感谢老师,她不仅教会了我们话剧知识,更告诉我们生活的态度,教会我们如何去观察生活,体验生活,欣赏生活;如何把大生活演绎在剧社的小舞台上。在老师的精心指导下,社员们配合努力,在本次表演活动中获得了特等奖,这份殊荣,属于剧社忙碌在台前幕后的每个人。

今年,老师为我们编排了一部英语课本剧,经历了多次练习,我们登上了“希望中国”比赛的舞台。感谢老师的辛勤指导与栽培。通过这次比赛,我们磨练了演技,也明白了很多需要改进的地方,并且获得了特等奖!

很幸运我们大家荣获了这次的特等奖。为了这次比赛,大家都付出了很多。在排练中,大家都在努力地准备,老师,演员,道具组……这一切,都要归功于大家。今后,我们将更加努力,争创佳绩!

After two months practice, we finally reached our own destination. We won the outstanding prize in the final competition. At this exciting moment, I have many words to say. Success is not always smooth, but that we have to overcome many obstacles. During this term, I had many self-developments, Firstly, I learned a lot from our props group. They participated in every rehearsal, but not even in a camera lens. But they didn’t complain. I think I learned that we have to be passionate at the thing we are doing. Secondly, I really immersed myself in my character’s emotion and the touching story. It gave me a chance to get in touch with other people in the society and widen my horizon. Last but not least, I deeply felt that, the power of teamwork is the power you could never measure. We encouraged each other many times, also comforted each other. I see the time when we rehearse as treasures, when the sun shines on the window, with our most joyful smile.

Through this competition I gained a lot, although this time I was in the props group. I gained a lot of things that I never cared about before. For example, in the past, I didn’t use to value props in the process of performance, but this competition made me realize props play an important role in the whole performance, and directly affect the effect of the work. The place of the props greatly influences the place and acting of the actors. So I also want to thank the teacher for letting me experience the hard work of the props group.

I choose the English Drama club because I am interested in role-playing and acting. I haven’t imagined I could have so many chances to perform, and I’m grateful for the teachers to give me the opportunities to improve my skills. My classmates and I prepared for this play for more than one semester. We spent much time rehearsing and wanted to get a good result in this competition. Luckily, it’s worth the hard work. I took pride in our good performance. I will continue to learn and act and chase my dream to become an actor.

I’m happy to see the good result of our English drama show. As we all know, “one minute on the stage, ten years on practice”. It’s real. For me, it’s hard to give my best performance to the audience, I might laugh or forget my words. But our teacher was very patient, she taught us how to express the feelings better. Also, the performance on the stage is important. It’s very different from the practice. When I was on the stage, I quickly got immersed in the story and the character. Thanks to my teacher’s encouragement and my own sensation, I acted well this time. It’s good to have this result, I feel confident in my acting.
