近期，我校开展了主题为“向世界表达中国Express China to the World !”文化节系列活动。五年级英语教研组于11月23日下午在我校国瑞厅举行了“用英语讲中国经典故事Approach to Chinese Classic Tales”活动。校领导、外教代表及五年级3个班级参加了现场展示，其他班级通过“云”转播共同欣赏了此次精彩活动。

此次活动分为两大篇章：人物篇及典故篇。在人物篇中，学生分享了伏羲、屈原、大禹等历史人物故事。在典故篇中，学生挑选了《塞翁失马》、《后羿射日》、《完璧归赵》、《程门立雪》、《吴刚伐桂》等经典篇目进行演绎。学生身着传统服饰，用地道、标准的英语，展示了中国源远流长的经典文化，抒发了对祖国的热爱。

该活动为学生们提供了展示的平台，锻炼了学生的口语表达、跨文化交流等综合能力。学生不仅深切感受到了中国悠远的历史及璀璨的文化，还向世界传递了中国声音！

学生感言：

我是五年级（9）班的夏佑凯，很荣幸能参加本届文化节活动。我用英语讲中国故事的形式向大家传播中华民族优秀传统文化的精髓和魅力。从查找资料准备演讲稿到正式演讲，整个过程不仅使我深入了解了更多的中国传统文化知识，还培养了我对英语学习的兴趣，提高了我英语口语表达能力和应用能力。我希望能有更多的同学加入到我校的英语活动中来，用英语一起讲述中国故事，向世界展示中华传统文化，成为中华文化的传播者！

I am Benjamin LIU from Class 4 Grade 5. I like English, and even like English drama performance. I am very happy when I heard that I can share a Chinese old story in English to my classmates. I know some stories, and when I prepared the story Da Yu, I found three kinds of stories for Da Yu Controlling the Floods! They are different! Finally, I selected a Chinese classic tale with a love story of Da Yu. It is interesting and funny. I believe my classmates never heard such story about Da Yu before. This activity lets me learned many Chinese old stories. I am a Chinese boy, I am very proud of our country, and she has a long history and a lot of different cultures. When I prepared the story in English, I tried to find more beautiful English words to write the story, and leaned many new English words. My cousins are living in US, and I will tell the old stories to them. I believe they will be very happy to hear the stories!
