Hi! My name is Joyce. I want to tell you about my new school.

My new school’s name is Beijing Foreign Language School, and so in a shorter way BFSU. On my first day I was so very excited. But then that day when I came home I changed my mind, I didn’t like school so much after all. I didn’t want to go to school tomorrow. School in China was so hard; I didn’t understand half of what the teacher was saying. My worst fear was Math. While all the children around me were so easily without effort answering the teacher’s questions, I thought my brain was breaking down; I didn’t get anything they were saying. It was always a relief when Math class ends. The next hardest was Chinese. I always had a headache when Chinese class started but at least Chinese Class wasn’t so hard. The rest of the classes were ok, but some of them were hard to.

Then there was a test, I did not get such good scores but still I did not give up. Then I made new friends. My friends helped me. Whenever I asked for help they would always be willing to help.

School started to get easier and funner, my grades got better and I got happier. Math wasn’t such a nightmare anymore and all the hard classes got easier.

With my friends help I started to like school, and I happily went to school every day.
