My Best Friend

People meet thousands of persons all their lives. Some of them become friends, yet others are just strangers. We value our friends, for they are truly precious and can be infinitely loyal towards us. In my life, for instance, there are a few persons like this, and one of the most special ones is my best friend, Mary.

Tall and skinny, she is pretty both outside and inside. At school, you can hardly find any subjects she is not good at. She particularly enjoys learning English. Due to this, we all ask her for help. And what’s hard to come by, she can always be kind and enthusiastic.

Mary is fond of playing the piano. She can play it so well that it is said her performances can move the rock. She also takes interests in travelling. She writes down journals when she travel to different places and the journals she has kept are very dear to her.

Talking about her dreams, she is willing to be a part of environment protection now and forever. She also wants to travel round the world on her own, as she put it:”If this dream can be realized, I will be able to experience the colorful culture of different countries.”

In a word, she is a fantastic person to me. I get to learn a lot from her. She is not only my friend, but a teacher of my life as well. I feel greatly fortunate to have this friend. Hope our friendship remains forever.
