Thoughts about the Tenth Foreign Language Festival
The Tenth Foreign Language Festival is coming to an end. I have had a great time in the past few weeks. Here I am very glad to share my thoughts with you.
It’s the first year that I entered the foreign language festival. I had expected to join in all kinds of interesting activities, such as the dubbing competition, the English chorus competition, the competition of research study and so on. All these activities have brought me so much fun.
The most interesting is the English chorus competition. First, each class chose their favorite song and practised it as much as possible. Every class has tried to show their best to others. Our class chose the song “The Show”, which is lively and melodious. We spared no efforts to practise singing the song. No hard work, no rewards. At last, we won the first prize. At that moment, we cheered and laughed with great joy. What’s more, we were honored to sing at the closing ceremony on behalf of our grade.
The festival not only gives us a chance to practise our English and show ourselves, but also makes me more confident and more interested in English. Also, it makes our class more united.
What a fantastic festival! I am looking forward to the next foreign language festival.
