随着夏天的脚步悄然而至，在同学的期待和瞩目下，北外附校第十五届外语节拉开了帷幕。

为开阔学生的国际视野，突出学校的外语特色，北外附校创办了外语节活动，现如今已是一个成熟而具有代表性的节日了。节前两周，每一个附校人都积极认真地做着准备，全心投入班集体活动，想要在此次机会中展现自己的外语学习成果，并吸收不同国家的文化，与同窗好友畅所欲言，交流自己的观点与看法。

4月16日下午，同学们与老师齐聚操场，来我校游学的澳大利亚汉密尔顿的同学和法国姊妹校的同学也都参与了本次嘉年华。出席嘉年华的领导和老师们有我校高中校区和初中校区的校长以及外教们。为贯彻第15届外语节的主题“品味名著 传播经典”——“Classics without borders”，高中部的主题是中国经典文学作品，初中的主题为中国传统节日和中国神话故事。同学们事先制作了展板，将各自的主题以丰富多彩的形式展现出来，并从服装，妆容方面进行了装扮。本次嘉年华活动流程如下：入场准备-游行展示-游戏环节-整理结束。

首先，各班同学根据本班抽到的主题进行主题游行，将文化以更直观的方法展现、传达给大家。值得一提的是，所有的游行主题都与中国传统文化有关，从传统节日到神话故事无不囊括。这充分体现了附校外语特色文化中培养具有国际视野和民族情怀的多元化知识性人才的目标和宗旨。

而后便是令人期待的嘉年华活动了。每个同学有一本北外附校特制护照，各班将延续游行主题继续开展游戏活动。每参加一个活动就能收集一个印章，印章将用于为喜欢的班级投票。此外操场两侧还有散落的拼图碎片，收集碎片可兑换礼品。

When summer is on the way, the 15th Foreign Languages Festival of BFLS was held last week.

In order to broaden students’ horizon and highlight the feature of foreign languages, BFSL established this festival and it is already a mature activity now. Everyone in the school prepared it zealously and put whole heart into it. It is an excellent opportunity for them to show their understanding of the Chinese traditional culture and exchange ideas with classmates .On the afternoon of April 16th,students and teachers all gathered on the playground and found pleasure in the carnival.

The carnival mainly included 2 parts. Firstly,students went on a parade with themes which they drew on the board and made up for, showing us the culture in a brand new manifestation.It’s mentionable that every theme performed in the parade displayed one side of traditional Chinese culture. The display ranged from the traditional festivals to the ancient myths,nothing needed was lacking.It well reflected the school’s objective to foster students’ international insight and culture awareness.

Here came the game part after the parade. Each student got a special passport.Every class had a stall organizing an activity in the theme of the parade.By attending these activities students could get signets which could be used to vote for class they like.Furthermore, there were puzzle pieces around the playground.They were used to exchange prizes.
